The purpose of this fund is to support contract researchers and research students who are at serious risk of not completing their contract or study.

Please note that this form must be filled out by the Principal Investigator / Project Manager or Research Supervisor. Application completed by Postgrad students cannot be considered under the terms of this funding.

The Higher Education Authority has stated that projects that are fully funded by industry are not able to benefit from this fund.

Only projects which were on-going on 6th January 2021 can benefit from this fund.

All other avenues to complete the activities should been exhausted prior to submitting this application, for example, no-cost extensions, budget re-allocations, deferring the project etc.
