Over the last number of months, staff from HR, Finance and IT in conjunction with Educampus and external vendor Access (formerly known as CoreHR) have been working on the merger of the Cork and Tralee CoreHR systems into a single instance for MTU. Testing has now been completed and approval to move to the next phase has been granted. Go live configuration work will commence immediately.

Key Dates

• Sign off on testing to progress to go live configuration Wednesday 10th March 2021.
• Go live phase of the project commences immediately Wednesday 10th March 2021.
• Clones of existing Cork and Tralee systems will be taken on the evening of the 15th of March in Tralee and the 19th of March in Cork.
• Access to the local existing CoreHR system (including BI reports and Portal) will be removed from all Tralee staff on Monday 15th of March (evening).
• Access to the local existing CoreHR system (including BI reports and Portal) will be removed from all Cork staff on Friday 19th of March (evening).
• Configuration of the new system Friday 19th March – Friday 26th March.
• MTU instance of CoreHR will go live on Monday afternoon 29th of March – accessible only by HR and Finance staff.
• Access to Core for all staff granted on Tuesday 30th of March 2021.
