Changes to Pay & PRSI from 1st October 2024

Public Services Agreement 2024-2026
With effect from 1st October 2024 a pay increase of 1% or €500 per annum (whichever is greater) will apply to all staff pay scales in the university. A copy of circular letter 003/2024 is available in the payroll section of our website and the updated pay scales will be published shortly.
PRSI
The PRSI Rates are also changing with effect from 1st October 2024. The Employee element is increasing by 0.1%, which will result in an increased PRSI deduction applying to your pay. The Employer contribution will also increase by 0.1%. This increase impacts on the cost of employment and is relevant for those involved in costing research grants and other projects.
