A new Loan of Equipment procedure become effective from Thursday 3rd october 2024.

The main changes impacting staff are:

(a) Laptop computers will no longer require a loan of equipment form to be submitted

(b) Laptop are still considered assets that will be rcorded on teh Unvieristy's Asset tracking System

(b) The IT policy on 'one person one device' will require returning old laptops shortly after new ones are received

(c) The Terms & Condition for issues laptops to staff have been updated to revised a clarify the section on liability.
