System Improvements

Summer 2020 has been a busy time in the finance office.  We have implemented a number of system improvements and are accelerating our work to ensure that the finance, payroll and expense systems are mergered on 1 January 2021 for the creation of the new Munster Technological University. 

Finance System (Agresso)

In June we completed our upgrade of Agresso and this has improved the functions available on the web.  This provides a better user expereince, but alos improved online  reporting to Managers and Heads of Department.   We are also launching a mobile phone app to allow budget holders apprve invoices via their mobile device.   User guides are avilable on our Agresso Support section.

 

Core Expenses

In August we completed the testing and go live of our online expense project using Core HR. The pilot test group consiting of Nimbus, Clean Technology & Finance are already live on this system and we will be phasing in all other staff between September and November.  This will remove the need for the paper forms.
