Online Timesheet Support
Implementation Timeline
MTU Employees who are paid on an hourly basis are moving to a single online timesheet system on a phased basis
- Phase 1 - Nov 2026: All hourly paid Students and Casual part-time researchers
- Phase 2 - Feb 2027: All hourly paid casual part-time lecturers and tutorials
- Phase 3 - Mar 2027: All Exam invigilators and all other staff
As each phase is implemented, the paper, excel, pdf, and email options currently in place will be discontinued.
Expected Improvements
The move to online timesheets should have the following improvements for users
- Single method of claiming
- Automatic workflow for approval
- Ability to check status of claims
- Ability to easily update/correct claims not submitted or returned
- Quicker processing times
- Less delays and claims getting lost
It will also streamline the approval process for supervisors and managers and should result in quicker approval times and a significant reduction in claims being lost.
